304.24 -290 Principal office -- Records. The insurer shall establish and maintain in this state its principal office and place of business. The insurer's principal records shall be kept either at its principal office or, with the approval of the commissioner, at its place of business in any other state where it, or its affiliate as defined in KRS 304.37 -010, is engaged in the business of entering into contracts of insurance.
