315.005 Purpose of chapter. The purpose of this chapter is to promote, preserve, and protect public health, safety, and welfare by and through effective control and regulation of the practice of pharmacy; the licensure of pharmacists; the licensure, control, and regulation of all sit es or persons who are required to obtain a license, certificate, or permit from the Board of Pharmacy, whether located in or outside the Commonwealth, that distribute, manufacture, or sell drugs within the Commonwealth.
