§ 355-1-108

355.1 -108 Relation to Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act. This chapter modifies, limits, and supersedes the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. sec. 7001 et seq., except that nothing in this chapter modifies, limits, or supersedes Section 7001(c) of that Act or authorizes electronic delivery of any of the notices described in Section 7003(b) of that Act. Section 102(a)(2)(B) of the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act of 2000, 15 U.S.C. sec. 7002, provides: 'A State statute, regulation, or other rule of law may modify , limit, or supersede the provisions of section 7001 of this title with respect to State law only if such statute, regulation, or rule of law...enacted or adopted after June 30, 2000, makes specific reference to this chapter.'
