376.470 Veterinarian's lien. (1) Any licensed veterinarian who performs professional services for an animal, by contract with, or by the written consent of, the owner or authorized agent shall have a lien on the animal to secure the cost of the service provided. (2) The priority among vet erinarian's liens filed under this section shall be according to the first lien filed. Effective: July 13, 1990 History: Created 1990 Ky.
