384.060 Qualifications of conservator -- Bond -- Authority. The court shall have full discretionary authority to appoint any suitable person as such conservator and may require such conservator to post an adequate surety bond and to make such reports as the court may deem necessary. The conservator shall have the s ame powers and authority as the guardian of the property of an infant or the guardian or conservator of a mentally disabled person, and shall be considered as an officer or arm of the court. Effective: July 1, 1982 History: Amended 1982 Ky. Acts ch. 141, s ec. 97, effective July 1, 1982. -- Created 1944 Ky. Acts ch. 102, sec. 2. Note: 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 396, sec. 106 would have amended this section effective July 1, 1982. However, 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 396 was repealed by 1982 Ky. Acts ch. 141, sec. 146, also eff ective July 1, 1982.
