61.908 Fees. The following fees shall be required with respect to applications, examinations, and training for commissions: (1) With the initial application, a fee of twenty -five dollars ($25); (2) With application for renewal, a fee of twenty -five dollars ($25); (3) Prior to any written examination approved by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council, a fee of fifteen dollars ($15); (4) Prior to any practical examinations on firearms proficiency approved by the council, a fee of twenty dollars ($20); and (5) Prior to any training program approved by the council for special law enforcement officers, a reasonable fee as determined by the secretary to cover the cost of training; (6) All funds received by the cabinet as fees pursuant to this section shall be available for use by the secretary in administering the provisions of KRS 61.900 to 61.930, and any excess funds not expended at the end of the fiscal year shall revert to the general fund.
