RS 11:1114 - Eligibility for membership in other public system; election of coverage Employees who at the time this system is established are or were at any time entitled to become members of any other publicly funded retirement system shall not be entitled to membership in this retirement system unless on a date not more than one year next following the establishment of this retirement system they indicate by a notice filed with the board of trustees, on a form prescribed by it, their individual election and choice to participate in this retirement system.
