RS 11:1306 - Application for retirement Any sworn, commissioned law enforcement officer of the division of state police who has attained the age and/or length of service required for retirement shall, upon filing with the board an application requesting retirement, together with a service certificate signed by the head of the division certifying the years served and the average salary, be retired by the board and shall receive retirement pay from the fund as provided in R.S. 11:1307.
