RS 11:1529 - Commencement of benefits If an application for any benefits is received by the board within ninety days of the date the applicant became eligible for the benefit, benefits shall be paid retroactive to the date of becoming eligible therefor. If an application for any benefit is received by the board after ninety days of the date the applicant became eligible therefor, benefits shall be paid only from the date the application is received by the board.
