RS 11:3112 - Pro rata payments; record of unpaid benefits If at any time there shall not be sufficient funds in said Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund subject to disbursement to pay each person entitled to the benefits herein provided, then such monthly payment or payments shall be made pro rata to each beneficiary until the said Fund shall have been replenished sufficiently to resume payment in full to each of said beneficiaries. A record, however, shall be kept of all unpaid benefits as a result of said insufficient fund, and if at a later date funds are available, all accrued unpaid benefits shall be paid pro rata from said fund until same shall have been liquidated in full.
