RS 11:809 - Termination of Social Security coverage Any member who is covered by R.S. 11:801, whose employer withdraws its employees from Social Security coverage, shall, upon the effective date of withdrawal be governed by the laws otherwise governing the Teachers' Retirement System; however, the service credit earned while paying Social Security shall be governed by the provisions of R.S. 11:803(A).
