RS 11:931 - Implementation The Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana shall implement the optional retirement plan no later than March 1, 1990, and the public institutions of higher education shall implement their optional retirement plans on July 1, 1990. The Board of Regents, Board of Trustees for State Colleges and Universities, Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, and Board of Supervisors of Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, or their successors, and any other constitutionally established board which manages institutions of higher education shall implement their optional retirement plans no later than July 1, 1998.
