RS 12:602 - Authority to transfer stock The possession of a stock certificate, duly endorsed by or standing in the name of, a person, firm or corporation, shall be full and sufficient authority to any person, firm, or corporation, or to any transfer agent, to transfer the shares when instructed so to do. Such possession and endorsement shall be full protection to any person, firm, or corporation purchasing or lending money in good faith on the stock.
