RS 13:1000.6 - Nineteenth Judicial District Court, drug division; additional fees for treatment programs A. In all criminal cases of which the drug division of the Nineteenth Judicial District Court has jurisdiction, there may be assessed as an additional fee against every defendant who is convicted after trial or who pleads guilty or forfeits bond a sum in an amount not to exceed what is necessary to pay for the cost of or part of the cost of the defendant's participation in a treatment program as defined in R.S. 13:5303(9). B. A judge of the drug division shall cause to be conducted annually an audit of the account and the books and accounts relating thereto and shall file the audit with the office of the legislative auditor where it shall be available for public inspection.
