RS 13:1031 - Bonds The clerks of the civil and criminal district courts shall give bond before they enter upon the discharge of the duties of their office. The clerk of the criminal district court in the sum of ten thousand dollars, and the clerk of the civil district court shall give bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars, each with at least two solvent sureties, in favor of the governor of the state of Louisiana, for the faithful discharge of their official duties.
