RS 13:1272 - Duties; salary Each court reporter shall attend the sessions of the division to which he is assigned and, subject to the orders of the presiding judge of such division, shall take down stenographically the testimony offered therein, and such other matters as may be directed by the presiding judge of such division. Each court reporter shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed by the judges of the court, payable out of the judicial expense fund.
