RS 13:1571.7 - Out of state supervision Subject to the provisions of this chapter governing disposition, and to the extent that funds from all sources are available, the court may place a child in the custody of a suitable person in another state. On obtaining the written consent of a juvenile court of another state, the court of this state may order that the child be placed under the supervision of a probation officer or other appropriate person designated by the accepting court. One certified copy of the order shall be sent to the accepting court and another filed in the records of the requesting court of this state. Added by Acts 1972, No. 140, §1.
