RS 13:1597.1 - Additional judge for juvenile court for Jefferson Parish The additional judge of the Juvenile Court for the Parish of Jefferson, provided for by R.S. 13:1596, shall be elected initially at a special election which shall be called by the governor, to be held at a time fixed by the governor, for a term which shall not extend beyond the terms of the judges of the district court. Thereafter, his successors shall be elected at the time fixed by law for the election of district judges throughout the State of Louisiana. Added by Acts 1972, No. 265, §2.
