RS 13:2074.2 - Hammond; salary of clerk and deputy clerks; minimum A. Notwithstanding any of the general or special provisions of law providing for compensation of the city court clerk and deputy clerks of the City Court of Hammond, the salary received by the incumbent clerk and deputy clerks on the effective date of this Section shall be the minimum salary of the clerk and deputy clerks and shall not be reduced below that amount as long as they remain in office. B. A deputy clerk employed after the effective date of this Section shall receive as a minimum salary the lowest salary paid to a deputy clerk on the effective date of this Section.
