RS 13:2488.28 - Clerk The city judge shall appoint a suitable person who shall be the clerk of the city court. The clerk shall be appointed for both civil and criminal sections of the court. The clerk shall perform such functions and responsibilities as are provided by law. The clerk shall receive such annual salary as may be fixed, from time to time by the council by ordinance. The city clerk of court shall be subject to removal from office at any time by the judge of the court. Acts 1970, No. 424, §8. Acts 1986, No. 226, §1.
