RS 13:2561.13 - Sheriff as executive officer The executive officer of this court shall be the sheriff of the parish of Jefferson. All writs and processes in either criminal or civil matters issued by this court, shall be served by the sheriff or his deputy. The sheriff shall receive the fees provided by law, applicable to the 24th Judicial District Court. Acts 1962, No. 484, §13.
