RS 13:351 - Salaries, oaths of office, bonds A. The clerk, chief deputy clerk, and deputies of each court of appeal shall receive from the state an annual salary which shall be established by their respective court in accordance with the General Appropriations Act. B. Each of these officers shall take the constitutional oath of office and shall furnish bond in favor of the state in the sum of ten thousand dollars, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties. The surety on these bonds shall be a surety company authorized to do business in this state.
