RS 13:4162 - Suits entitled to preference; right of office; state, police jury or municipal corporation as party Suits in which the right of office is involved, or in which the state, a police jury or municipal corporation is a party, shall have precedence over all others except criminal cases, and they shall take precedence in the order in which they are named.
