RS 13:4285 - Retention of seized property by judgment debtor until day of sale; security therefor The judgment debtor may have restored to him, until the day of sale, property of his which has been seized under a writ of fieri facias, by furnishing security for an amount exceeding by one-half the estimated value of the seized property. This security shall be conditioned upon the faithful delivery of the property at the time of the sale. Amended by Acts 1960, No. 32, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 1961.
