RS 13:47 - Legislative authority for judicial salaries Any increase in salaries may be enacted by the legislature only after submission of the aforesaid report and must be approved by a favorable vote of the majority of the elected members of each house, whether in an odd-numbered or even-numbered year, or at any extraordinary session if included within the objects of that session.
