RS 13:5546 - Oath of property appraisers; administration Sheriffs and their deputies may administer the oath required of appraisers of property under seizure, sequestration, or order of attachment. They are entitled to compensation for this service only if they are commissioned notaries public. This privilege shall not extend further than the objects mentioned.
