RS 13:5574 - Limited liability of members A sheriff shall not, by reason of being a member of an interlocal risk management agency and contributing to the group self-insurance fund, be liable to such interlocal risk management agency, to any other member, or to any claimant against the agency itself, or another member, except for payment of contributions provided for in the interlocal risk management program and the interlocal risk management agency. No interlocal risk management agency or program shall have the effect of providing for a donation, in whole or in part, of the public funds of one sheriff's office for the benefit of another.
