RS 13:5587 - Liability for costs The fees of the sheriff shall be advanced or paid by the party requiring the service to be performed. The party may recover the same from the other party on the final termination of the cause, if costs should be decreed in his favor, and shall be protected by the bond or security, as provided in R.S. 13:1215.
