RS 13:72.2 - Authority of supreme court to appoint judges relative to drug matters The supreme court of this state is hereby authorized and empowered, by rule of court, to provide with respect to the appointment, for periods not to exceed one year, of active and retired judges, and of attorneys, as ad hoc judges to preside over drug related criminal matters in those instances where sufficient funding for such purpose has been provided by federal, state, or local sources.
