RS 13:759 - Election; term of office Except for the clerks of the Civil District Court and the Criminal District Court for the parish of Orleans and except for clerks of district courts elected at special elections, each clerk of a district court shall be elected at the gubernatorial election, shall serve for a term of four years, and shall take office and begin his term on the first day of July following election.
