RS 13:918 - Disbursement of funds After the clerk of court receives a copy of an order authorizing disbursement of funds located in the registry of the court, the clerk within fifteen business days shall disburse the funds by check, payable to each entity or person entitled to the funds. If the clerk of court fails to disburse the funds within the time period required under this Section, the entity or person entitled to the funds shall also be entitled to receive all interest earned on such funds while in the registry of the court.
