RS 13:961.1 - Federal and state district court reporters; administration of oaths The official court reporters of all United States district courts located in the State of Louisiana and the official court reporters of all district courts of the state shall have authority to administer oaths to parties appearing before such reporters for the taking or execution of depositions, interrogatories and statements to be used in courts of record of this state. Certificates issued by said reporters and signed by them, within the scope of the authority herein granted, shall be received in the courts of this state as are the certificates now issued by notaries public.
