RS 13:996.35 - Additional sheriffs' fees; parishes of Iberia and St. Landry In addition to all other fees or costs now or hereafter provided by law, the sheriffs in the parishes of Iberia and St. Landry shall be entitled to an additional fee of ten dollars in all criminal cases brought in district court against every defendant who is convicted after trial or after a plea of guilty or nolo contendere or who has forfeited his bond. This fee shall be remitted to the sheriff of the parish to be used to defray the expenses of his office. The sheriff may use all methods available under the law to enforce and collect the fees.
