RS 14:113 - Treason A. Treason is the levying of war against the United States or the state of Louisiana, adhering to enemies of the United States or of the state of Louisiana, or giving such enemies aid and comfort. B. No person shall be convicted of treason except on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on his own confession in open court. C. Whoever commits the crime of treason shall be punished by death. Acts 2014, No. 791, §7.
