RS 14:205 - Fire-raising on lands of another with malice; penalty A. Fire-raising on lands of another with malice is the malicious setting fire to any grass, leaves, brush, or debris on lands of another, or the procuring same to be done. B. Whoever commits the crime of fire-raising on lands of another with malice shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars, or imprisoned for not more than six months, or both.
