RS 14:314 - Mississippi River, making unauthorized cut-offs prohibited; penalty A. No person shall make or cause to be made any cut-off in the Mississippi River without authority of law. B. Whoever violates this Section shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars and imprisoned for not less than one week nor more than twelve months.
