RS 15:1037 - Rules and regulations; classification of inmates; education, training, and discipline The board of commissioners shall have full control and management of the industrial school and its affairs, and shall adopt all regulations which the board may deem essential to the proper conduct of the school. The inmates shall be classified according to rules which the board may deem best fitted to insure their reformation, and they shall receive educational, moral, industrial, and farm training. The discipline of the school shall be humane and of the most modern and reformatory nature.
