RS 15:1255 - Applications for grants; eligibility; standards; procedures A. Any parish governmental agency that has responsibility for a jail facility is eligible to apply for participation in the grant program herein authorized. Participation by any agency is voluntary; however, each recipient agency must comply with standards promulgated under this Chapter. The governmental agencies of adjoining parishes or two or more governmental agencies in the same parish which have responsibility for jail facilities may join together in implementing the provisions of this Section. B. The commission shall promulgate the rules, regulations, and procedures by which the grants shall be distributed. Application forms shall be developed and submitted by the appropriate parish agency, and reviewed by the commission. Added by Acts 1980, No. 753, §1, eff. July 31, 1980.
