RS 15:254 - Sheriffs, jurors and law enforcement officers not entitled to witness fees No sheriff, deputy sheriff or juror, and no law enforcement officer except as otherwise provided by R.S. 15:254.1 and R.S. 15:255 while attending court as such, shall be allowed any compensation for attendance as a witness in any criminal case.
