RS 15:542.1.7 - Court records; disclosure Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any records in the possession of any court are subject to disclosure to the district attorney, sheriff, or any other law enforcement officers including agents of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, division of probation and parole, for the purpose of fulfilling their duties with regard to the provisions of this Chapter, and without the necessity of obtaining any order of the court or other authorization for the release of such records.
