RS 15:571.50 - Written guidelines A. Each judicial district that establishes a job intervention program shall adopt written policies and guidelines for the implementation of a probation program in accordance with this Part. B. The policies and guidelines shall include provisions concerning the following: (1) How to qualify the defendant. (2) How to advise the defendant of the program if the court has reason to believe the defendant may benefit from participation in the program. (3) The criteria to be used to select employers for participation in such intervention programs to be approved and ordered by the court, which shall include but shall not be limited to all of the following: (a) A requirement that the employer register for the program with the district court with jurisdiction where the employer is located. (b) Agreement by the employer to such terms as set forth by the district court as a condition for participation. (c) A written statement from the employer that no worker will be displaced by this program. Acts 2003, No. 803, §1, eff. July 1, 2003.
