RS 15:574.16 - Refusal to parole; penalty Should any officer of any such municipality described in R.S. 15:574.15 refuse to parole any such person or persons upon the verbal request, or otherwise, of any such officer herein mentioned, such officer of the municipality shall upon conviction before the criminal district court of such parish be condemned to pay a fine of not less than one hundred dollars, nor more than one thousand dollars, or suffer imprisonment of not less than thirty days, nor more than six months, or both, as the judge of said criminal district court of said parish shall deem expedient.
