RS 15:850.15 - Funding for operation and maintenance of Jackson Parish Detention Center The expenses or costs of the operation and maintenance of the Jackson Parish Detention Center, including salaries, wages, facility operating costs, and the feeding and maintenance of prisoners incarcerated there, shall be paid monthly by the police jury treasurer, upon approval of such expenses and costs by the Jackson Parish Detention Center Commission, out of the funds derived from special taxes voted, levied, collected, and budgeted for that purpose. The commission may by resolution delegate to the chairman or one of its other members the duty of approving such monthly expenses and maintenance costs. Acts 1995, No. 675, §1.
