RS 15:866.1 - Transportation for released prisoners The secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections shall promulgate rules and regulations to determine which prisoners shall be provided transportation to their residence upon release from prison. No inmate, otherwise eligible, shall be provided transportation to a residence outside of the state of Louisiana. Acts 1978, No. 575, §2; Acts 1988, No. 378, §1.
