RS 16:912 - Assistant district attorneys A. The offices of first, second, third, and fourth assistant district attorneys for the Fortieth Judicial District are created. B. Each assistant district attorney shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than two thousand two hundred fifty dollars payable monthly by the parish of St. John the Baptist. C. The governing authority of St. John the Baptist Parish shall annually budget an amount sufficient to pay the salaries provided for in this Section. Added by Acts 1982, No. 21, §6(f), eff.
