RS 17:166 - Promulgation of rules and regulations The rules and regulations adopted by the Louisiana state board of education governing school buses transporting students to and from school as provided in R.S. 17:164 shall be promulgated by official resolution of the board establishing an effective date not sooner than thirty days nor more than one hundred twenty days for notice of such regulations to be placed in the hands of and brought to the attention of all parish and city school boards operating transportation systems by the state superintendent of public education issuing such rules and regulations, after adoption and approval of such regulations by the state board.
