RS 17:1998 - Advisory councils The board, upon the recommendation of the directors of postsecondary vocational-technical schools, shall appoint an advisory council on career education for each school. The members of all such advisory councils in this state shall serve without pay. Each such council shall be limited to fifteen members and be representative of the state's population by race and gender to ensure diversity and shall be representative equally of employee, employer, and educational and public interests.
