RS 17:2079 - St. Joseph's Abbey St. Joseph's Abbey, an institution for the education of young men, situated in the Parish of St. Tammany, Louisiana, owned and operated by the corporation known as the St. Joseph's Abbey, shall have the power and is hereby granted authority to graduate students and confer such literary honors and degrees, and to grant such diplomas, as are conferred and granted by any colleges, universities or seminaries of learning in the United States and Europe, to such graduates of such institution, or other persons, as may be provided for under such rules and regulations and over the signature of such persons as such corporation may adopt.
