RS 17:2138 - Required ACT score for residents of other states A. As a requirement for admission to any public college or university in the state, any person who is a resident of another state and who is seeking admission to any state public college or university shall have attained a score of at least seventeen on the American College Test or an equivalent score on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. B. The requirement as provided in Subsection A of this Section shall be in addition to all other eligibility criteria as required for admission by the state public college or university to which the person is seeking admission. C. Effective for the 2004-2005 academic year and thereafter, the provisions of this Section shall not be applicable to any person who is a resident of another state and who is seeking admission to any Louisiana public college or university supervised and managed by the Board of Supervisors of Community and Technical Colleges. D. Effective for the 2004-2005 academic year and thereafter, the provisions of this Section shall not be applicable to any person who is a resident of another state and who is seeking admission to any Louisiana public college or university who and thereafter, the provisions of this Section shall not be applicable to any person who is a resident of another state and who is seeking admission to any Louisiana public college or university who meets National Collegiate Athletic Association initial eligibility standards required for participation in intercollegiate athletics.
