RS 17:2161 - Loan or grant from federal agencies The board of education may negotiate a loan or grant from any agency of the United States for the purposes authorized in R.S. 17:2151, under the provisions of any federal statute. In order to secure such a loan or grant, the board may enter into any agreements or obligations as are required by the lender, except that no agreement shall be made creating a debt or liability of the State of Louisiana.
